Common questions, straight answers
Using the service
Does this cost me anything?
No. Sending a request and getting a callback are both free. If you hire the plumber, you pay them directly for the work, the same as calling them yourself.
How many companies will contact me?
One. Your request goes to a single independent, licensed plumbing company that works your town. Your number isn't sold or blasted to a list of contractors. Expect a call or text from a number you don't recognize, usually a pro calling between jobs.
When will I hear back?
Usually within the hour during business hours. Evenings, weekends, and holidays run longer depending on who's on shift. If water is doing damage right now, mark the request urgent and say what's happening in the message. Smelling gas is different: get out of the building and call Puget Sound Energy at 888-225-5773 or 911 before anything else.
Do I have to hire whoever calls?
No. The callback is a conversation. Describe the problem, hear what it likely involves, get a price, and decide for yourself. There's no obligation and nothing owed.
Coverage and who we are
My town isn't in the list. Can you still help?
Pick the closest listed town and name your actual location in the message. County pros cover the gaps between towns regularly. If there's nobody for your spot, you'll get told straight instead of left hanging.
Are you a plumbing company?
No. We're a referral service and we say so up front. The company that calls you is the one that would do the work, registered and insured in Washington. Check any contractor's standing at lni.wa.gov before you hire them.
